SMYTHEN #1 is a 24-page comedic romance comic about a guy who, following a string of bad dates with human beings, gets given a beta key to a new dating app called 'Smythen', which matches him with mythical beings who live among him. All of this is aided by Elliott's pansexual dragon roommate, Lydaeria, who is keen to see her best friend finally get laid. And maybe fall in love, but mostly the getting laid thing.
The inspiration for SMYTHEN comes from a variety of comic books and graphics novels, like Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley, Eight Billion Genies by Charles Soule and Ryan Browne, and Silver Surfer by Dan Slott and Michael & Laura Allred.
